Australia day

We've had the book sale, the public holiday (Australia Day) and today we had the first day of school! All the teachers and students are back for the start of the 2010 year - and what a busy day it was...

Getting ready...

One case of iPod touch units, 30 in all, and their connection cables ready to go! Now that we have successfully put a class set together in this trial, we can now complete the other 6 sets required...

Fire drill

We had an emergency fire drill today and were successful in evacuating the building in a very speedy time! Not that it was too hard to achieve as school staff and students weren't present (and thankfully there was no fire!).

Newspapers online

We've finally got the new touch screen computer (with PressDisplay loaded) up-and-running! Our customers can now access local, national and international newspapers and magazines through this machine, giving them access to hundreds of publications in many languages.
Should be a winner!

SALE...

Seaford's first book sale for 2010 commenced today. Customers were waiting at the doors this morning (despite the heatwave we are experiencing), eager to have a look at what's on sale.
It's a great time to grab a bargain!

2010 is go...

the year has started with a bang...lots of activity (with very few staff on deck)! It has been very busy for the first few days with no sign of any let-up.
2010 is definitely go!
