Presentation of the Premier's Reading Challenge medals and certificates at the school assembly today with one very lucky winner of a Samsung tablet (kindly donated by the Seaford Friends).

We had the launch of the Summer Reading Club yesterday afternoon. A good crowd of children were excited about receiving their SRC packs (including a reading passport and all sorts of goodies), participating in activities and consuming the 'sausage sizzle'.

Lots of new displays have gone up including this one promoting Hour of Code; Summer Reading Club and Santa's visit storytime

the Gift of Reading tree where we ask customers to donate books

and a BIG focus on SRC!

We have had the annual electrical testing done and have started with the RCD replacement program

We have collected the 2016 LBBC toddler reading packs ready for distribution

and more Let's Read packs

And finally, the printer which was delivered over a week ago has been installed!

school holidays week 2

The Hungry Caterpillar activity was very popular with storytelling, singing and participation!

The Solar cars - Seaford was an activity making and racing solar cars - loads of fun.

and there was lots of Lego fun at the Holiday LEGO activities.

The Spring Book Sale came to an end with very few items remaining (lots of happy customers).

Blocktastic

We had a great activity for Dad's and their children at the library last Saturday called Blocktastic. It involved Lego, Minecraft, a photo booth and lots of fun! Our highly skilled and professional staff took the photo booth opportunity to capture their magnificence!
