Work Experince Placement

Lachlan has taken up an opportunity to do work experience at Seaford library this week. He has teamed up with various library staff to experience a wide range of work practices, systems and procedures and quality services. A week is not a long time to experience the scope of things that occur in a busy joint-use library but Lachlan will have some appreciation of the work delivered by staff. Who knows, he may choose this as a career...

Power supply installation

We are ensuring that our customers have a (safe) power supply for their laptops (and other electrical devices) which they use to access library services!

Shelving clean-up

It was a BIG clean-up day! All the surplus shelving stored in the school's shed needed to be moved to the council's storage area (at Aldinga). We got the library van, then Nathan and I did a couple of runs to get the job done. Now we have to plan what happens to it (and all the other library materials) once the temporary storage time expires.
