changes this week

 The self service kiosks have been rebadged (and now display the correct information)...

The 'master' PC has been repositioned so that it can now also be used as an on-line catalogue (when staff need to show customers how to reserve items, etc). This is a temporary measure (until the service counter area goes through a redesign).

Today we removed the security gates from both entrances in preparation for the installation of new ones (tomorrow). The old gates will be removed from the premises tomorrow and the RFID equipment installed and connected.

We tagged the nonfiction collection all week and made it to the 600's - just over half way. This give us some indication of our capacity to tag and to plan the weeks ahead...
