It was a busy 2 weeks of school holiday activities, book sale and exhibits.

A highlight was the Chemical Catastrophe Show, and we had Flashy Wearables, Coding Fun and Lego.

And who could resist the wonder of chicks hatching!

 The Hungry Caterpillar activity was very popular with storytelling, singing and participation!

 The Solar cars - Seaford was an activity making and racing solar cars - loads of fun.

and there was lots of Lego fun at the Holiday LEGO activities.

The Spring Book Sale came to an end with very few items remaining (lots of happy customers).

Blocktastic

We had a great activity for Dad's and their children at the library last Saturday called Blocktastic. It involved Lego, Minecraft, a photo booth and lots of fun! Our highly skilled and professional staff took the photo booth opportunity to capture their magnificence!

St Patrick's Day

We took the opportunity to celebrate St Pat's Day with a display in the library (and staff dressing for the occasion!)

The yarn bombing group commenced today in the foyer of the library. Their presence was made obvious by some temporary work on display outside the library!

The first Family Disco was held at Seaford library last night and it was a big hit! Lots of lil' groovers doing their thing on the dance floor (with mums and dads dancin' along too)...

blind date...

Library Lovers Week is well and truly over but we have continued with the blind date with a book. This is where customers can borrow a 'mystery' book (one wrapped to conceal its identity) and hopefully establish a relationship with a type of book/genre that they would not normally select.

It's been fun but sadly, this too is now coming to an end ...
