new garden

A new garden has been planted at the library's entrance (thanks to the good work of Nathan & co.). Hopefully it won't be long and the native plants will be established and growing well!

This 'special' storytime session was delivered at Seaford this morning but we didn't get the numbers we were expecting. Due to the rain, participants from local schools cancelled (at the last minute). Still, those who were there did enjoy the session!

Kelly has been successful in obtaining the ILC position at Noarlunga making it three staff vacancies at Seaford. Looks like recruiting time!

The old garden is going... going...gone

and soon we will have a new one!

power outage

We were down for about an hour yesterday and had to evacuate all our customers. No power meant that 'everything' was down; no air con, no lights, no computers, etc...

just goes to show how reliant we are on electricity!

staff are leaving

First, we had Daff resign and head off for a new life in Roxby Downs (or, as she calls it, RoxVegas!) and now we have Rachel leaving for a new life working at a university...
