Remembrance day

Remembrance Day in Australia is an occasion to commemorate and remember all Australians who have died as a result of war. On Tuesday 11 November at Seaford library we remembered those men and women.

NBN connection

The NBN has finally made it to our comms. room! Now we just need to organise our ISP and arrange our connection to PLSA ...

 Seaford Book Heroes celebrate the publishing of their book

This week it was back to school for Term 3...

and the arrival of 'new baby chicks'...

new equipment (photocopier and charge kiosk)...

and the Seaford district centre display.

school holidays

It was a busy 2 weeks with lots of activity...

new acquisitions

 A new A/V trolley, allowing our info screen to be mobile...

and a saddle stool, to improve comfort and safety for staff!

New lounge chairs are installed in the adult fiction lounge...

filling the void

 Out go the cupboards, screen and collected materials...

we then fill the void, and voilà!

student returns

A new mobile returns unit has been installed. Now students and teachers of the school have a dedicated returns unit close at hand.

ITC cabling

New cabling case covers have been installed in the ITC to ensure cables remain secure and safe!

NBN display

The NBN connection information board is on display in the library... meanwhile, we are still waiting for our connection!

new to youth area

We now have 2 XBoxes (including one XBox Kinect) and the Wii on the big screen, plus lots of new furniture (bean bags + stools).

St Patrick's Day

We took the opportunity to celebrate St Pat's Day with a display in the library (and staff dressing for the occasion!)
