Youth Week

It's Youth Week and the library is celebrating with displays, competitions and prizes. Today we had a student quiz in the study area which was well attended...and a lot of fun!

Jeannette Rowe @ Seaford

Jeannette Rowe was at Seaford library as THE LITTLE BIG BOOK CLUB visiting author. Jeannette spoke to the group about her books, her creative process and the importance of visual stimulation for the young. She challenged the group to draw and supported their efforts by providing advice, creative tips and tricks and lots of encouragement! There was also a sale of her books, book signing, a delicious supper and, of course, good conversation. Visit her site here.

New Switches

The 2 new switches have been installed and the networks are up and running! All looks good and there is some improvement in the speed of certain functions (already).

Library Lover's Week

This was very popular with both adults and teens as was the opportunity to make a comment about 'what you Love about the library?' - apparently lots of things...
